Live Fire Testing

The Arsenal has extensive testing capabilities. An indoor firing range for small arms and simulated live firing of artillery and tank systems with the use of hydropneumatic test equipment is available. Computer modeling is applied to the simulation and study of mechanical systems in an effort to predict actual performance. Chemical analyses allow the evaluation of production materials. The testing methods used support environmental protection efforts.
